Changes made at this stage are easier to manage than corrections after fabrication.
Material preparation follows approved specifications. Carbon steel fabrication requires attention to plate thickness, welding sequence, deformation control, surface preparation, and corrosion protection. Polypropylene equipment requires suitable sheet selection, reinforcement, thermal welding, and control of local stress. Different materials require different manufacturing discipline; one procedure cannot simply be applied to every structure.
Fabrication and Assembly
During fabrication, tank dimensions and internal partitions must remain consistent with the design. Weld quality, corners, supports, nozzles, and openings require inspection because small deviations can affect later assembly. Internal process components should be installed with adequate clearance and secure support, especially where vibration, air flow, or routine removal is expected.

Transport planning is part of quality control. Lifting points, center of gravity, external projections, internal support, moisture protection, and road limitations all affect delivery safety. Clear packing lists and installation information help the site team confirm that equipment and accessories have arrived together.
Site Installation and Commissioning
A factory-built system still needs a suitable foundation, accurate placement, reliable pipe connections, electrical supply, drainage, ventilation, and safe maintenance access. The installation team should protect equipment coatings and avoid placing loads on nozzles or panels. Before water is introduced, the process route and valve positions should be checked.
Commissioning connects manufacturing with treatment performance. Pumps, blowers, mixers, dosing systems, level controls, alarms, and automatic sequences are tested before biological startup.
